VOLUNTEERS
TIFF, like any non-profit organization, relies heavily on volunteers in order to ensure the maximum amount of its revenues go to the organization's causes. Without volunteers, TIFF would be unable to exist.
Board of Directors -- All activities and affairs of TIFF are conducted and managed by the Board of Directors, including the execution of all corporate powers. Click here to go to the Board of Directors page.
We currently have one vacancy on the Board -- Veterinarian (practicing or educator)
Advisory Commission -- NEW! This Advisory Commission provides legal counsel, general business development and accounting advice directly to the TIFF Board of Directors.

Vacancy: Accounting Advisor
Awards Review Committee -- NEW! The Awards Committee's primary role is to establish award criteria, review award applications and make funding recommendations to the TIFF Board of Directors. The committee establishes, with the approval of the TIFF Board of Directors, the following:
Award criteria
application guidelines
annual grant application timelines
application review procedures
grant administration guidelines, and
review of final grant reports.
We currently have the following positions available:
Vacancy: Three positions from academia / veterinarians (educators or practitioners);
Vacancy: Three positions from the scientific community -- people who understand the bio-medical implications of proposed research and can scrutinize the clinical relevancy and scientific methods being proposed. This would include researchers, scientists, and/or practicing veterinarians;
Vacancy: Three positions from the cat fancy -- people who are breeders or who have extensive backgrounds in serving on educational advisory boards, grant writing and/or have previous or current involvement with research projects.
Marketing Committee -- NEW! The Marketing Committee's primary role is to assist TIFF in developing a strategic business and marketing plan, and its implementation. It will include development of a web presence, marketing and media materials, and a donor solicitation campaign.
We currently have three to five positions available -- people who have expertise in marketing and/or fund raising.
